Exchange Programme C.A.S. School, Pakistan

A delegation of 12 students alongwith 2 teacher escorts came to our school on 11th of April, 2014. The delegation had come  from C.A.S. School, Karachi. It was a student exchange programme. It comprised six girls and a lady teacher escort who stayed in our school and six boys and a male teacher escort who stayed in Mayo College campus.

The team was formally welcomed during the morning assembly on 14th April where they put up a short programme for us. During their stay, the students who were all of class IX were exposed to various activities which were especially organized for them.

They took lessons in pottery, music and were also accommodated in class IX regular subject periods. They witnessed inter house matches and also enjoyed swimming. They actively took part in MCGSMUN, 2014 where all the 12 students were delegates representing different countries.

They were the guest of honour for two dinner parties hosted by the respective principals of the two schools. For sight seeing they went to the Dargah Sharif and for adventure they were taken for trekking to Madar Hill.

Overall, it was a very fruitful and worthwhile exchange programme, wherein both the host and visiting school benefitted. We look forward to more of such exchange programmes, especially from our neighbour countries.
