On the 27th of January, we bid farewell to the outgoing 12th standard batch and to mark the occasion presented to them a token of our affection, a personalized diary and a sashay that bespoke what we remember about each one the most.
The school farewell is a timeless tradition here at MCGS which is attended by all the school staff as well.
All beautifully clad in traditional Indian attire, the glamorous saris were bid adieu by their juniors. Class 11 also put up for them a memorable set of performances uniquely dedicated to them. We saw the 11th standard dance to numbers like “Ishq Wala Love” and “Get Low”. We also heard our 11th standard band sing o the note of songs like, “Koi Mil Gaya”, “Story Of My Life” and “These Days”.
At the same time, our senses were delighted with “Fried fish” and “Honey Chili Potato”. The school auditorium was decorated in shades of red and gold, which were done to this year’s farewell theme “El Dorado”, “The city of Gold”.
The night was rounded up with a delicious dinner selection and a ‘walk-down-the-memory-lane’ presentation made by Muskan Bajoria. In the end we treated ourselves to one last invigorating dance session.
Easily proven by the hundred thousand photographs that have been taken, the night was very memorable and unforgettable indeed.
