“Don’t gather happiness, wealth and good fortune; scatter it, far and wide.” Being able to help someone is a beautiful gift bestowed on all of us by God Almighty. The Hearing and Speech Impaired Society organized a Happy Week from the 27th to 31st of July which included a range of activities harnessing the creativity of differently abled children of the school in the areas of Cooking, Craft, Hair Styling and Dance. The students of Badhir Vidyalaya also enjoyed a fun-filled excursion to the Nareli Temple. The Mayo College Girls’ School celebrated its 27th Foundation Day on the 1st of August, 2015. The same day the students of the Badhir Vidyalaya also had the showcased a Cultural Programme which marked a crescendo of what they had learnt in a span of five days. The students performed a mime that signified how young generation gets addicted to sin and how difficult it is to be emancipated from the same without Divine Intervention. They also exhibited their fighting spirit by performing a dance on peppy Bollywood numbers. It was an enriching experience for all of us and in the end it taught us the art of communication transcending the barriers of language. It made us experience the joy of being together. The teacher incharges for this event were Ma’am Anita John, Ma’am Kavita Oberoi, Ma’am Pooja Dubey and Ma’am Pinky Vaishnava.
