“We may not have it all together, but together we have it all”.

On 21st February, 2016 thirty four of us got the opportunity to visit the Badhir Vidhyalaya’s Annual Fete. It was our proud privilege to see the creativity of the differently abled children. There was a beautiful stall of handicrafts put up by the children of the school which included key chains, pencil boxes, wall hangings, paper bags and envelopes. Along with it many other reputed families of Ajmer contributed for the fete and the children by putting up delicious food stalls which included gol gappas, chat, aloo tikki, etc. This satisfied our taste buds.

To make the fete a happy and joyful experience there were a lot of games which people of all age groups could play and enjoy thoroughly. We won prizes in many games such as housie, car racing and ring game. Eventually we gave the prices as gifts to the differently abled children which gave them endless happiness. Most importantly our school contributed an amount of approximately Rs 48,000 for the well being of the children.

It was an outstanding experience to visit the fete and interact with the children. Our School Principal, Ma’am Kanchan Khandke also visited the fete and contributed to the good cause. The environment of the fete tempted us to go for the fete each year and get more and more chances to interact with the kids studying there. We would like to thank our teacher escorts Ma’am Kavita Oberoi and Dr (Mrs.) Pooja Dubey for taking us to the fete where we made everlasting memories.
