Visit to Barliya village
From Classroom learning to Real Life Experiences
The 6th grade girls were taken to Berlia. There they acquainted themselves with and developed an understanding in reality how endogenous processes are constantly sculpturing the Earth`s surface producing bountiful, beautiful natural features.
This visit has helped the girls to have ushered in a practical approach to know topographical features like old fold mountains, types of slopes, valleys, formation of a major river and many other natural and man-made features.
This visit has initiated a deep empathy for natural resources and first hand interface with environmental awareness. All this facilitated learning in a holistic manner as it was inclusive of cognitive, affective and kinesthetic domains.
The girls had a lot of fun, adventure trekking over the mountain chain of Aravallis, along with fruitful learning.
