MCGS has adopted school counselling program based upon ASCA National Model which follows the guidelines set by American School Counselling Association. The ASCA national model is a tool created for school counsellors by the American School Counsellors Association. It is a set of comprehensive guidelines that helps a school counsellor to implement an effective and professional counselling program that has been tailored to the individual school's mission statement and vision statement. When students are provided with effective school counselling, they are equally enabled to grow academically and achieve their personal and career goals.

Every year school appoints two student officials for counselling who assist counsellor during workshops, group talks and they also play an important role in encouraging students to overcome the taboo to visit counsellor to take help when they face personal , social, emotional and academic related issues with courage and confidence. These students also run a society by the students and for the students name Unveiled’.
