The 14th edition of the Mayo College Girls' School Model
United Nations opened its doors with a ceremony that
perfectly embodied this year's powerful theme of
Vis Omnium: Power Contested by All.
Over 200 delegates from across the country gathered to
engage, debate, and lead, bringing the spirit of global
diplomacy to life.
The evening was graced by our distinguished Chief Guest,
Dr. Markandey Rai, President of the
Foreign Affairs Committee of the Indian Council for
International Cooperation and former Senior Advisor of
the United Nations Human Settlements Programme.
A special moment of pride — two of our very own MCGS
alumnae are serving as Chairs on the Executive Board this
year, a testament to the legacy this conference continues
to build.
Since 2012, MCGSMUN has been the platform where young
minds dare to think bigger. This year is no different.
